Powering Rural Ukraine
The Energy Maidan Project supports rural Ukrainian communities in gaining energy independence through generators, solar panels, battery storage, and other reliable power solutions. When the grid fails or is damaged, families, clinics, and community centers can keep lights on, run medical equipment, and stay connected.
What We Support
- Generators — backup power for homes, schools, and health facilities
- Solar panels and inverters — clean, off-grid electricity for villages and cooperatives
- Battery storage — storing solar or grid power for use when supply is cut
- Heating and cooking alternatives — stoves and heating that don't depend on gas or grid
- Training and maintenance — so communities can run and repair equipment safely
Why Energy Independence Matters
Rural and frontline communities are especially vulnerable to blackouts and damaged infrastructure. The Energy Maidan Project helps them regain control over their own power supply — for safety, health, education, and daily life — while building resilience for the long term.
